Recycling
We collect the electronic waste from your desired location, the waste is then transported to our Approved Authorised Treatment Facility (AATF) where we will reuse any working components and recycle the remaining scrap material.
This process is made easy by our national collection network and fleet of lorries.
WEEE
The UK Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations came into force on 2nd January 2007.
The WEEE directives ideology is to enstill producer responsibility. The aim of the regulations is to reduce the amount of electrical goods and electronic waste being deposited in landfill sites. Under the WEEE directive we must ensure we dispose of any waste we cannot re-use responsibly whilst also ensuring we follow strict rules and regulations on the treatment and recycling of WEEE. The directive sets out obligations for producers, importers and distributors of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) together with end users.
After all our investments in our company we have recently been awarded the title of Approved Authorised Treatment Facility courtesy of the Environment Agency. This accreditation ensures we have been deemed responsible operatives in the area of recycling WEEE and do so in a responsible fashion. As part of this we must provide documentation of any destructions carried out with compliance schemes. We work with various sources including; councils across Yorkshire, various business end users and multiple charities and small businesses across Yorkshire.
